Mount Nelson Hotel, Cape Town
The Mount Nelson Hotel is Cape Town’s oldest and grandest colonial hotel. Originally designed for the wealthy European traveler, the Mount Nelson opened in 1899. Today, the sprawling lush garden estate is in the heart of the city’s vibrant cultural center and close to the bustling V&A Waterfront and some of Cape Town’s best beaches. Victoria & Alfred Hotel, Cape Town
The rooms at this 4-star hotel have striking vistas of the working harbor, the vibrant piazza or the city’s majestic icon Table Mountain. June, 2009 Update: From now until the end August, the hotel will be upgrading all rooms on the first and second floor, converting the currently larger double rooms into executive and junior suites and also re-decorating the corridors on both floors.

Four Rosmead, Cape Town
This exclusive guesthouse sits on the slopes of Table Mountain in a select residential neighborhood within walking distance of the city as well as vibrant Kloof Street, which is well known for its restaurant and café culture. Built in 1903, this four-star classified monument has been recently remodeled with environmental sensitivity into a stylish Cape contemporary classic. Welgelen Guest House, Cape Town
This guest house is actually two Victorian houses joined by a cobbled patio and plunge pool, enclosed by terraces of iceberg roses and jasmine. The previous owner was an interior designer and the décor is a testament to her elegant style and eclectic taste. The current owner and hostess, Fiona Evans has recently added Grace House, a small cottage across the street, to the collection. Situated at the foot of Table Mountain in a neighborhood called Gardens, it is "well located," which is the Dutch translation for "Welgelegen."
The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, Camps Bay
This 5-star hotel lies where earth, sea, and sky meet, poised above Atlantic rollers and flanked by the majestic Table Mountain and her Twelve Apostles mountain range. Camps Bay is an upmarket suburb just ten minutes from the heart of Cape Town. The deluxe guest rooms and spacious suites provide spectacular views. June, 2009 Update: Guest rooms and bathrooms are currently undergoing refurbishment. The Café will be closed during June and July for extensive refurbishment and guests will be accommodated in the Azure Restaurant and the Leopard Room Bar and Lounge.
Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Residence, Green Point
The Cape Royale sits on a tree-lined boulevard across the
street from the new Green Point Stadium and park, and in close proximity to the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Head South Lodge, Green Point
Renovated in 2004, this 4-star art deco lodge has 15 spacious rooms and a reputation for excellent service. Amenities include satellite tv, air-conditioning, complimentary internet connection and non-smoking rooms. Breakfast is included. Green Point is where the new stadium is being built for the World Cup Soccer events in 2010. It is close to Sea Point's famous restaurant district and breath-taking beaches and just three minutes away from downtown Cape Town. Sorry, no children.
Villa Sunshine, Bantry Bay
This classic Mediterranean villa offers bed and breakfast accommodations in Bantry Bay which is sheltered from the wind by Signal Hill. Set midway between the Waterfront and Camps Bay this location is walking distance to the Clifton beaches and the Sea Point promenade.
