Pack Your Duffle for RWANDA
The “jewel in the crown” of Rwanda safaris is tracking the mountain gorillas, an endangered species living only in this corner of the world. With only 700 of these magnificent animals left on the planet today, it is indeed a rare and special privilege to see them. The experience of sitting with these gentle giants is one you’ll never forget.
You will need to allow a minimum of four days to see the gorillas and can easily combine this with safari plans in Tanzania or Kenya. Tourism funds crucial conservation and community projects in this land of a thousand hills.
We have a few preferred providers in Rwanda who meet our standards. We look forward to introducing you to the one who is best for you. We will work with you to design an itinerary that best suits you. Gorilla permits are limited so it is best to plan nine to twelve months in advance for gorilla trekking.
